What we found on the shelves
Every shelf sign we photographed with an asterisk on it, a price ending in .97, or an instant rebate, across every stop. Shoppers read the asterisk as a warehouse not restocking the item and a .97 as a markdown; Costco explains neither. A row is what one sign said on one day, and each links to the photograph.
